Chetan Wakalkar is the Group Director and Co - Founder of the Indira Group of Institutes, a premier education group in the domains of business management, IT, engineering, pharmacy, architecture, science, media mass communication and schooling.
He has contributed significantly to building the industry academia interface at the Indira Group which has been an integral part of the education process. This has directly contributed to IGI being sought after as a preferred Human Resource partner of the business Industry. He is the founder member and past president of the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO) Pune Chapter, a global network of entrepreneurs. He has been on numerous regional and national Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) committees and is currently a member of the CII Western Region - Innovation Committee.
